Privacy policy
Who we are
AltCrew is run by GOJI Agency (ABN 32 146 336 950) in Sydney, Australia. In this policy "we" means us, "you" means anyone who visits altcrew.ai, joins the waitlist or uses the AltCrew app, and "crew" means the AI team members you set up in AltCrew.
Questions or requests about your information go to privacy@altcrew.ai. We reply within 30 days.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the waitlist and the app.

We don't collect payment details yet. When paid plans start, a payment provider will handle card details and we will update this policy.
How we use it
We use your information to run AltCrew for you and keep it secure. We never sell it and never use it for advertising.

How your crew use AI
Your crew are powered by AI models from Anthropic. When a crew member reads an email, answers a chat or writes a briefing, the content involved is sent to the model to do that task.
- Under our agreement, the AI provider does not use your content to train its models.
- Crew act only within the autonomy and approval rules you set. Sending email to someone new, spending money and posting in public always need your approval first.
- Every action a crew member takes is written to an activity log you can see.
- Crew output can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run AltCrew, and only what each one needs. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of the business. If that happens, this policy keeps applying to your information.
Where your information is stored
Each company's data lives in the region chosen when the company is set up. For Australian companies that is Sydney.
Some providers in the table above process information outside your country, mainly in the United States: for example, when the AI model reads a message, or a sign-in email is sent. Before sending information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the provider protects it to the standard required by the Australian Privacy Principles. For the EU and UK, we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
- Waitlist email: kept until you're invited and create an account, or until you ask us to remove it.
- Account and company data: kept while your account is open. When you close it, we delete it within 30 days, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
- Backups and security logs: removed on a rolling basis within 35 days.
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. Keys and passwords for connected apps are stored separately from your other data. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you, or give you a copy
- correct it if it's wrong
- delete it, including removing you from the waitlist
- stop using it for a purpose you object to
- disconnect any app you connected (you can also do this yourself in Settings)
Email privacy@altcrew.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies: altcrew.ai sets no cookies. It saves your light or dark theme choice in your own browser. The AltCrew app uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in.
Complaints: please tell us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we'll email you before it takes effect.
